In an earlier post I mentioned that mint was definitely trending for Spring 2012 and I can only hope and pray that the color BURGANDY, which I’m finding quite amazing, will also make its way into the scene. I’m looking for that light ahead in the tunnel, that glimmer of hope that’s saying, “there will be burgandy this fall…”

Here’s where it gets better!

Tommy Hilfiger Man’s NYFW collection for Fall/Winter 2012 was that first ray of hope. Little pops of burgs here and there against the rich greys and blacks are enough to make me drool, also not to mention some of those trims of fur/sherpa collars (yummmm), AND oh god QUILTED diamond patterns are to die for right now! Tommy has it all! Why does winter have to be so far away??? #gah!

Soooo for those of you who have some sort of burgundy, or deep red, fur lined or diamond pattern quilted articles/pieces of clothing that you’re thinking of possibly getting rid of and/or removing from your own closet… send them over my way!! [EVEN BETTER!]

No I’m obviously kidding, keep them! #duh!

…not just amazed, I’m totes amazeD!

Cuuute!

Mint  for Spring 2012.
I think Lady Gaga was right when she mentioned that mint would trend into the fashion world this spring and I have always adored the clean aesthetic feel of it. So alone mint is already amazing.
Here’s where it gets better…
I made a little color story and took the liberty to add a color that I think never gets old, and would you look at that it’s gold! [Got a little Dr. Seuss on you there.] They make such a great pair together that when spring does finally hit this year be sure to pair it up with an accent piece of gold to add more brightness to your day!
SOOO cuute!

The “O’ Clock”, by Fullspot, Summer collection of 2012.

What makes this watch simply amazing is not only is it a trendy piece that everyone should have in their own accessory or watch collection, but its super cute and super affordable.

AND OMG it here’s where it get’s better!!!

What truly makes it more amazing is the faces are detachable from the bands so you can mix and match any to the other. With a HUGE array of fantastic colored bands and watch faces to choose from, with even just a few of each you have multiple options to fit any setting, any mood, and any outfit of the day. Affordable, trendy and so versatile! Win win win situation. What more could you ask for in a watch company?

I think I already own my share of watches, but a few more wouldn’t hurt, and by few I mean all [if not most].

…not just amazed, I’m totes amazeD!

OMG so excited!!!!

If you’ve read The Hunger Games or at least heard of it, then I’m sure that the upcoming release of the movie has you in some sort of frenzy, much like the way the Capital has the citizens of Panem in a frenzy during Hunger Games season. [Beep, nerd alert.] But seriously, this novel has such a dark yet fantastic storyline and has wonderful character development that it was enough to keep me reading straight through the day. What makes this amazing are the vivid descriptions of what Katniss, the main character, would be wearing through her travels through before the Hunger Game events. Since I already have such a wild imagination and thanks to these descriptions, I pictured gorgeous knock out dresses and gowns, and I couldn’t help but wonder “If there is a movie made, I WANT TO SEE THESE DRESSES!”
Here’s where it gets better…
Pictured above is an artist’s mock[ingjay] up of what a Capital Fashion Magazine  would possibly look like in the fictitious world of Panem. It features Katniss Everdean, played by Jennifer Lawrence, and co star Josh Hutcherson playing the one and only Peeta Mellark. [Go team Peeta! #duh] This is just a little glimpse, a Costco samps if you will, of what Katniss is wearing during a special scene when she’s… let’s just say, in the heat of the moment ;).
I am super super excited to see what the costume designers have created and I’m sure it will live up to its fiery reputation. But until the movie debuts on March 23rd, 2012, all I can do is wonder, [and carefully watch the trailers frame by frame looking for at least a hint of the dresses, but I’m not admitting to that…]

Alexander McQueen F2012.
Sarah Burton already does such an amazing job with the label, and after Alexander’s passing she has consistently incorporated her own point of view to make the brand her own yet still portray Lee in all of his creative genius.
Here’s where it gets better…
This previous season she’s paid an homage to him that is sooo close to what his vision was about and creative direction, that’s it’s almost hard to believe that he truly is gone with exquisite work like this coming down the runway. There are new silhouettes and fresh dramatic shapes, while still maintaining the strong femininity tones that Lee chose to express every single time. Sarah is making Alexander proud… proud that he is still remembered through her own eyes. Overall and amazing runway collection and…

For those of you who caught American Idol a few days ago, you might remember the little pin Randy Jackson was wearing, and being a huge fan of little trinket-out-of-the-norm accessories, I couldn’t help but wonder who created this amazing piece of wearable art? and it would obviously be on sale somewhere, right?
The internet was a buzz with where this pin originated and who’s [or what] face that the pin actually depicted. Some people speculated it was made up of entirely all Lego blocks, while others thought it was some sort of tribute to Stevie Wonder, but still no one knew how it was brought into this world. After spending some time reading threads and comments on other pages and forums, I finally stumbled upon a Facebook page entitled… check this out… “Randy Jackson’s Pin”. Uhmm, #duh all answers are on Facebook, where have I been?
Here’s where it get’s better…
It turns out that this mystery fashion gem was created by Vonray Custom Accessories specifically just for RJ. Wait, a custom accessory?  Oh my Gees, the search for this pin just got dramatically better. Now I can get a custom hand made pin at an affordable price, the way I want! BA-NA-NAS!
So look out Mr. Randy Jackson it looks like your secret pinstery source has been revealed, and now we ALL get to enjoy the pleasure of wearing something just as a intriguing.
